Half Day Course
Our half day power quality course an ideal introduction if you are wanting to take a more active interest in Power Quality monitoring.
Amendment 2 of the 18th Edition saw the introduction of new concepts and test and inspection requirements for prosumer installations. This new Part 8 added to the existing Appendix 17 and starts to put more of a focus on energy efficiency and the power quality of an electrical installation. Our half day introduction aims to make you familiar with power quality concepts and measurements, along with how to them relate to each other in relation to an electrical installation.
Content included will help you understand some of the measurements described in Appendix 17 of BS7671:2018 – 18th Edition. These measurements and topics include consumer demand, tariff structure, load profile, power factor correction, data logging.
