The half day course is the ideal place to start if you are wanting to take a more active interest in Power Quality.

This Introduction to Power Quality workshop aims to allow you to become familiar with Power Quality concepts and how to pull them all together in relation to an electrical installation. This includes content from the new Appendix 17 contained in the updated BS7671:2018 – 18th Edition including Consumer Demand, Tariff Structure, Load Profile, Power Factor Correction, Data Logging and Harmonics.

Finally we look at instrumentation and solutions such as Voltage Optimisation and Power Factor Correction. Learn the basis of how these technologies work along with advice on test and measurement equipment capabilities to help you measure Power Quality and Energy.
